Outside of joining an architectural or design team for a larger project, I mostly 3D design, organise and manage small to medium-sized works in woodwork and joinery, undertaking projects including:
- Small business fitted furniture and design
- Solid timber framework
- Bookcases and alcove shelving
- Personal office and desk spaces
- Bi-folding doors, wardrobes, and under-stair storage
- Boat joinery, including fold-down wheelhouses

I’m so glad we found Jim! He has been extremely helpful since we first contacted him with some unusual ideas for our spare room. He built us a custom desk and a space saving wardrobe which fits my electric piano, so it can be tucked away when I’m not... playing. Jim built a highly complex bookshelf, desk and drawer unit for us that was designed specifically for our space. He also designed and built a smaller, simpler cupboard that blends in with the wall. The result was really stunning and has transformed our... home. Jim's experience of working with architects to turn designs into a reality and his pragmatic approach were invaluable. Jim is brilliant. We needed to change our small living space into an area which we could work in as well. He help shape our plans and drew up some great designs based on a Pinterest board. We tweaked them over the next week or so and he got to work. The... finished product looks great. Better than anything we could find online as it fits the space perfectly.read more
